I needed to do something diifferent than archviz so i grabbed old idea and remade it one evening (i think it took ~30min for scene setup and modelling :P)

download contains sizes up to 1600x1200 and 1920x1200 widescreen!

(wanted wallpaper for myself :P)
download and enjoy :P

How strong is your PC? 'cause your PC can handle Fryrender for such large size 1920x1200(px) in reasonable amount of time? (you didn't show how long it took here so I guess it's quite long but reasonable for waiting)

Admit it's got physical accuracy but god damn long... I used to try a simple scene with 1 sphere + standard material & light and seem it take forever (after 20-30' overloop with numerous processes I just shut it down). Maybe Maxwell or something else also take long time but enough for it, I hate myself that don't have hardware strong enough for using those unbiased render engine... Just Vray for now. How about your PC config? Graphic card?...

Well, maybe your buddies, friends and generally people stay around your location have got high standard level for hardware... For me it's not quite powerful it's pretty ugly oc 4xCPUs, it's a monster + some correlative fraphic card(s) that I guess you also own... Long time now maybe you don't remember but actually how long did it took (render process only)? :D a bit curious.

GF8800gtx, use to be top of the line some time ago, but still can run essentially everything i throw at it max detail 1920x1200 :)
and the render process was as i said at least 48 hrs. it was running for some days in BG while i was doing other stuff so ive got really no idea about exact numbers now :)

For detail my sphere size just try to render in 480x360 or 640x480 (not sure now). And can't wait longer than 20' for such scene anyway :ufo:

I think that contrast is a bit too high. The version you showed me on icq was better. More elegant.

Anyway, When I look at it I regret not having such a big screen :)
